* I LOVE ROSES *
I just thought you may like to see some more of my Christmas presents... I really love them all and when ever item is practical yet so pretty how can you say no.
This will be for the bathroom (when finished) I intend to line it with this fabric.
I have had my eye on these Greengate cake tine for a while now and was so pleased I finally bought them.
Storage tins for my work room and a Cath Kidston tea towel which may become a bag for my knitting.
Don't you just love pretty things, they really do make me smile every time I look at them.
Oh before I forget to ask, does anybody know where I can buy some pale blue and white polka dot fabric (good quality cotton), I know Cath Kidston does it but the spots are too big for what I need it for, any advice would be of great help as I have about given up hope of finding any...

I love that basket, can I be cheeky and ask where you got it from? I just relised you might not know as it was a present! Deh! I'm glad you business is going really well.
Good luck for 2008

PS Laura Ashley is where I got mine - check my pile of material on one of my old posts....maybe the spots are the same size as CK thinking about it.
Ooooh what fabulous things and a CK handbag! Gorgeous. I think Laura Ashley do some fabric like you're looking for but it may have quite big dots too. There are some great fabric shops on ebay if you've not already checked them out. Wishing you a fantastic 2008, looking forward to seeing more of your fabulous pictures.
Warm wishes

There's a stall on the Victoria Market in Nottingham that has some pale blue with small (less than 1cm) white dots, but it;s a lightweight polycotton mix. Washes and works like cotton but if you want natural fibres you will struggle to get something decent from a lot of places. I have got some lovely fabrics from quilt shops on EBay - try there? I am trying to finish off some knitting needle rolls with the embroidery on like the kit I made your mum last year - I will let you know when I have them up for sale chick!x
I use globotec (or globalex, can't remember the name!) fabric. Anyway, most fabric shops stock it. It's a third of the price of cath kidston fabric and looks almost identical imo! They do different coloured polka dot prints, a strawberry print, a patchwork quilt print and also one very similar to the cath kidston antique rose print.
I've had my eye on that wire tray for a while now, think I might have to go and buy it! Nice blog btw! :-)
here's the link!
